Soundshield: Music Copyright Protection And Distribution

Soundshield is a cutting-edge music copyright protection and distribution platform that leverages blockchain and Web3 technologies to empower musicians and content creators with secure, transparent, and decentralized solutions. This innovative platform ensures that artists receive fair compensation for their work while facilitating seamless and efficient music distribution.

Challenge

The app had a cluttered interface, making it difficult for users to navigate and find essential features. Users were facing issues with the onboarding process, which was affecting new user adoption rates. The app lacked personalization and customization options, making it less engaging and user-friendly.


Results

The main challenge in designing Soundshield was to develop a user-friendly platform that effectively communicates with artists or individuals with limited technological exposure.

The goal was to onboard them onto the platform, elucidating the significance of the technology.

Additionally, for onboarded users, the aim was to simplify and streamline the application process, making it convenient, and enabling them to manage their records in one centralized location.



Approach of Design

To address the design challenge, we adopted an iterative and user-centered approach. We started with extensive research on user behaviors and expectations in the music industry. Collaboration with blockchain and Web3 experts was crucial to integrate these technologies seamlessly. The design focused on creating an intuitive interface, ensuring artists could protect their work effortlessly and consumers could access music without friction.


Results

The implementation of Soundshield resulted in a revolutionary platform that successfully addressed the challenges of music copyright protection and distribution. Artists experienced increased trust in the system, leading to more content being shared on the platform. Consumers benefited from a vast, secure library of music with transparent royalty distribution.
